Her Story

Kaitlin first became involved with Shine as a high school student helping organize the conference. What began as an opportunity to support other girls quickly became a meaningful part of her own growth.

Over the years, Kaitlin took on new roles. She joined the planning committee, emceed a conference, interviewed a keynote speaker on stage, participated in breakout sessions, and eventually returned as a college panelist.

Each experience gave her a new opportunity to step outside her comfort zone, discover more about herself, and connect with women who inspired her.

Her biggest takeaway remained simple: be yourself, follow your passions, encourage other girls, and never give up.

Kaitlin's story is a reminder that impact doesn't always happen in one moment. Sometimes, a girl's Shine journey grows with her, giving her new ways to lead, connect, and eventually become part of the encouragement she once received.
