One of Anna's biggest takeaways from camp was this: “We all are the same in small ways, but our differences are what make us special.”

Through her Shine Girl experience, Anna was reminded that connection doesn't require everyone to think, look, or experience the world in exactly the same way.

While girls may share many similarities, their unique personalities, perspectives, strengths, and experiences are also something worth celebrating.

By the end of camp, Anna was carrying with her a beautiful reminder: our differences don't have to separate us. They can help us better understand one another and appreciate what makes each person special.
